GameStop's stock price reached an all-time high of $483 per share on January 28, 2021

This surge was fueled by attention from Reddit investors and a tweet by Elon Musk linking to the WallStreetBets subreddit

GameStop's stock briefly went above $500 before hitting the $483 intraday high during regular trading hours

However, the stock price quickly plummeted over 80%

in less than a week after Robinhood suspended users' ability to buy more shares, causing a panic sell-off

GameStop's stock trades for a fraction of its record high, typically between $13-$15 per share

This is still far above the all-time low of $2.57 per share reached in 2020
